Why this preview is worth your 20 seconds

A voice for every use case

Each voice here is cast for a job — narration, ads, explainer, audiobook, meditation, gaming, kids, podcast. Start from the fit, not from a scroll.

Direct it in plain English

These voices follow instructions. Ask for “warm and conversational” or “slow and serious” and the performance changes — that is the part a normal text-to-speech tool cannot do.

Type in any language

These voices work the language out from your text, so the same voice reads 100+ languages. Nothing to configure — just type.

Liked what you heard?

The full library, plus voice cloning in 80+ languages at the same credit cost as prebuilt voices.

FAQ

Free AI voice preview: Frequently Asked Questions

Have a question? Check out our frequently asked questions to find your answer.

Can I really try an AI voice without signing up?

Yes. Type up to 100 characters, pick a voice, and press Listen — no account, no card, no email. Picking a voice on its own plays a ready-made sample instantly; typing your own words generates fresh audio in the voice you chose.

Is this the same quality I get after signing up?

Yes. The preview runs the same Studio voices, the same delivery instructions, and the same speed and volume controls as the studio itself. The only difference is length: the preview is capped at 100 characters so it stays free for everyone.

What does the delivery instruction actually do?

Studio voices follow direction written in plain English. Tell it “warm and conversational, like explaining something to a friend” or “slow and serious” and the read changes to match. That is the difference between a voice that reads your text and one that performs it — pick a starter chip or write your own.

Why is there no pitch slider?

Shifting pitch after the fact degrades the audio, so instead of faking it we let you ask for it. Put “speak in a lower pitch” in the delivery instruction and the voice performs it naturally, which sounds better than any post-processing.

What languages can I try?

These voices detect the language from your text, so you can type in any of 100+ languages and the same voice will read it. You do not need to pick a language or a different voice — just type and listen.

How many free previews do I get?

Enough to hear what you came for. Playing the ready-made voice samples is unlimited; generating your own words is limited per day so the free preview stays available to everyone. Create a free account to remove the limit and the 100-character cap.

What do I get if I create an account?

Full-length scripts instead of 100 characters, the complete voice library instead of a curated dozen, downloads, pronunciation control, multi-speaker projects, and your work saved. Signing up is free and takes a moment.

Can I use the audio from this preview commercially?

The preview is for auditioning voices, and its clips are not downloadable. On any purchased plan, the audio you generate inside Unmixr is 100% cleared for commercial use — see the pricing page for current plans.

Can I clone my own voice?

Yes, on an account. Voice cloning is supported in 80+ languages and cloned voices cost the same credits as prebuilt ones. The preview on this page uses prebuilt Studio voices only.

Which voice should I pick?

Each voice here is cast for a job — narration, ads, explainer, training, audiobook, meditation, gaming, e-learning, kids, podcast, documentary, and conversational. Start with the one closest to your use case, then direct the delivery to taste rather than hunting through a long list.
